Hippity Hoppittyy (2.0)

Alright well, the Man, aka DMCA Copyright shit made me take down what i suspect was the shit from Big Boi's new album. So you can either go find your own download links or just buy the whole thing because everything i've heard off it has been gold. (also took off the link to Andre's All Together Now song (off the Nike Kobe commercials) go check it out.
HOWEVER!!
Pretty sure I can still give you these...

ONE:

Because neither of these will be appearing on the album do to the collabo with Andre 3000. Both veryyy very sick...

DOS:
Ghostpoet: Kinda like the Cool Kids meets London Grime meets Madlib... AKA my new favorite thing...
This shit is well worth grabbin. Ghostpoet via London is blowing up across the pond and for good reason. A little off the beaten path, but NOT another shitty underground hip hop joint. If you like it get the whole The Sound of Strangers EP
Download: Ghostpoet- Gone

Okay I'm out. Going to see Santana with the fam tonight... fuck yesss...

A few more from my june playlist

I'm so overwhelmed by good music I want to post I've hit kind of a standstill... I guess there are worse problems in the world. I'm actually about to dipset on a canoe trip in the boundary waters (see above) with my brother and fajah right now but before i get back and really unload some of this music surplus on you all, here a few i've been jammin to tide you over. They're all good. I swear...

UNO:
Favorite song of the summer so far? Nice little bouncy chillwave type song... remember chillwave?
Download: Chinatown- Wild Nothing

DOS:
This song's hard hitting chorus gives me fucking goosebumps every time. Good ol' Indie Rock...
Download: Colours- GROUPLOVE

TRES:
If this song was a facebook status I would Like it. Danger Mouse/Brian Mercer duo, This will stay in your head. (and i just found out they play it on the current!)
Download: The Ghost Inside- Broken Bells

There ya go! see you in a week with more..

P.S.
>Things to do before you die: See Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings live. Best show i've ever seen.
>Things you'd rather die than do: see MGMT live. Maybe a liiitle harsh but still..
>((aka my Rock the Garden review))

Oh yeah, and see Toy Story 3 asap as possible too. Okay peace.

New sun, new music

Hey, look... right in time for me getting off work the sun finally comes out. Beach? Thinking yeaaah...

Keep the new J. Cole coming... This dude is killing it with these last two singles. Sick flow sick beat. I even like this one better than Who Dat... very very hot little summer groove..

MORE new M.I.A. from the upcoming album. At first I hated it... wayy too poppy. But what can I say, after jammin out to it in the whip I gave into that hook. And you'll never guess who produced it... Rusko... I liiike.

Download: XXXO- M.I.A.
Download: XXXO (Pieces and Pieces Remix) (ft. Jay-Z)- M.I.A. (not sure how i feel about this...)

Rain & Jazz

Allow me to offer you your rainy afternoon soundtrack. The only accompaniment these songs need is the sound of rain hitting the pavement outside your window. Sit back, and let these riiide...
My favorite 5 lazy rainy day jazz songs:
>Download: Winston Marsalis-When It's Sleepytime Down South
>Download: Miles Davis-Someday My Prince Will Come
>Download: Stan Getz-Serenade In Blue

>Download: Too Young To Go Steady- John Coltrane
>Download: Kenny Dorham- My Ideal

Just realized these are all amongst the most played songs on my itunes. Allow me to thank Froaker for supplying most of it.
