Spring=Sprung

Pretty great weekend huh? Yeeaaah. Sorry no posts. But this one will surely supplement...

Sooo word on the street is that March is the new April and vitamin D is the new crack rock. Warm weather just blind sided this campus and suddenly schoolwork has taken the backseat to things like sunglasses, shorts and of course, the mank (did i say mank?) Yeaaah. Not too humid- right before my hair takes jew-fro status.
Fellow northern-state-inhabitants this is the time where we realize why we deal with 4 months of cold weather: pure appreciation of 60° weather. Holllaaa. Love the sweat. Hate the laundry.

Anyways, before you go outside next, honor me with supplying you a soundtrack with my Top-5-60°-weather-Sunsoaked-[NEW] Indie-Jams..... if that made sense. All so so so so good (:

1.) Each time I listen to this song it blows ma' mind. Maybe your mind will also find itself blown. My favorite song in a while. Note the name of the band.... Okay.

2.)  I don't know how much you've fucked with the new Gorillaz album but let me just give this the "best track sticker". Argue that the track Stylo is better all you want but this is just a quality, catchy, feel good 60° in the sun banger.

3.) Really been feeling this track too (arguably chillwave...) and obviously The Hood Internet was too when they supplied you with this sick little mash up (they also supplied the pic...)

4.) If you still don't know what chill wave is read the old post. There is not genre that sounds better under the sun than this. And Toro y Moi supply us with a new sunsoaked hit that I love and you should to. The video posted below should give you things to look forward to in the warmer times to come...

5.) Aaaand I really like this one. And its title pretty much speaks for itself. And it's a cute little numbah. The band itself is like this mystery band from Brooklyn and their getting a lot of hype for it. But for good reason. DO WHAT THE SONG SAYS...

......OKAY FINE AND ONE IF YOU'RE JUST IN TOO MUCH OF A HIPPUR-HOPPUR MOOD...

A little new Coolio Remix with a little P-Funk type sample... I listened to this before a midterm today... pretty sure I aced it...

Also-- I just copped 2 new promising-looking mixtapes, I'll post some tracks mañana...

AND I'M GOING BACK OUTSIDEE... RJD2 SHOW TONIGHT, GET AT ME IF YOU'RE GOING HOKAYYY
